Flounder and Spadefishing report Chesapeake Bay fishing report! #vairetypack

This weather just won't break for us but we are still fishing. We had Kenneth and group out for a business trip the main goal was to catch Cobia but the conditions really put a damper on that. So a little change of plans we headed to the Cbbt to start the day off Spadefishing. The water was kinda dirty in result the Spadefish bite was a little slower however everyone got to catch their first Spadefish and a couple Triggerfish for bonus. John had the biggest Spade of the day. We decided to do a little Flounder fishing even though the conditions were very poor, wind against the tide made it very challenging but we scratched out. We caught about a dozen Flounder with keeping 7 keepers with Kenneth catching his personal best 24 incher! With just very little visibility we decided to go look for Cobia it was nearly impossible to see 20ft from the boat so it was super difficult, but these guys wanted Cobia so we stuck it out and had some terrible luck we pulled two very nice fish off which was a really low blow especially in the conditions. However, we continued grinding and they left with some Cobia to eat! Captain Brian and Hunter ran the "Salt Treated" they started the day off loading the boat with some Croakers for bait to go sit on the chum pot. They chummed for about 3 hours caught 2 Cobia, Sharks and huge Ocean Ray. Then they also started looking in the tough conditions, they grinded and earned a great catch, their Charter left pumped with catching 5 Cobia and taking home some to eat. Congrats on your first Cobia guys! Thanks for the all the business, hopefully next time its all blue bird skies! Salt Treated Fishing has some prime availability coming up both "walk on" trips aboard the "Salt Treated" and open boat trips on " Clock Work" don't wait and come enjoy a great experience on the beautiful Chesapeake Bay! #catchfishandchill #accuratefishing #simradelectronics #boweduplures
