COBIA,SPADE AND FLOUNDER!!!
Shewwww, some good "meaty" fishing today. We had Clydee and his wild gang back out with us. To say the least we stayed pretty busy. Started the day getting on a pretty consistent Flounder bite catching around 25 and kept 16 keepers, the biggest around 22 inches. Changed wheels to Spade fishing and got on a good bite, we had them up to 7 lbs! With just a small window to sight fish we capitalized and spent about 45 minutes looking, catching one smaller fish then goofed up on a couple shots then saw the JUMBO in a pack of 5 finally got her to eat. To date this is the biggest girth on a Cobia I've personally ever seen. It's only 52.5 inches long but an unbelievable 32.5 inch GIRTH! I'm estimating it around 65-70lbs (official weight tomorrow) Congrats on the bang up day guys and thanks again for the continued business repeatedly choosing Salt Treated Fishing.
