Cobia, Cobia, Cobia ohhh and JUMBO Spanish!

Gary and his gang got it done with us today! It was one of those mornings where you really questioned going due to weather, but super glad we pulled the trigger. It was definitely a rough ride getting out, but I’m super pumped they toughed it out because fishing was down right amazing! First Cobia of the day was a BOOWOW. Never missed a beat everyone got to catch very nice Cobias and we released several. One being an absolute slob 58 incher! We put out some Bowed Up Spoons while we continued looking for Cobia. It’s nothing like a good ole fire drill scrambling to clear trolling rods when you hook a 50 plus inch Cobia! And that happened, more than once! We never found a big concentration of Spainsh, but the ones we did catch were studs! Two of them especially-both pushing 28 inches shewww. Another great day with a great group.
