Yesterday we did a "walk on" trip we had Tyler aka "schoolie", Ross and Austin and the 4th missed his alarm clock. It was simply one of those days thats was meant to be. Again, this type of fishery is very slow, some trips we fish 8 hours for one big bite. However, yesterday it just came together for us. None of the clients have ever caught a big Striper before let alone a citation so this was super special for them and me as well to be apart of it. We kept 4 fish that all made Virginia weight citation size. We weighed in 50, 44.4, 48.7 , 47.6! Pretty incredible day of fishing. These 4 fish harvested will be enjoyed by many families and friends over the holidays. It don't always happen this way.
